As we get older and time moves on, we start to realize more and more who we are. We grow out of the things we used to love, and start to see ourselves in a new light. At first, it might seem sad that time passes us by so quickly, but we should come to understand that this is the way life works.
People are always telling us to spend time more wisely and not to waste it on pointless arguments or drama. But sometimes it’s this drama, fights and arguments, which better help us understand who we are and who we want to be.
Someone once told me that people never change. And I find it hard to believe. We all have it in ourselves to be better people and change our actions. We all have the strength to choose what we want to. Just having a choice is a blessing in itself.
At times, it just may be easier to ignore the problems or issues that are constantly keeping our minds busy. Constantly reminding us that there is something wrong, and we have to dig deep down within ourselves to understand it and to acknowledge it. By doing this, we confront our fears and tear away from the bonds that hold us back. By doing this, you will have learned to let go and set things right.
Honesty to yourself is the key, being true to yourself and to others will help you give a sense of calm you never thought could have existed. It will set you free and open up new doors for you. We just have to be willing to make that change and face whatever challenges confront us.
Hi Chrissy Happy, I like when you blog in English :OD I would just like to add a personal revelation about age and life; accepting what you have and being happy with it works for me. Not striving always for the bigger better car, job, house, etc. Just revelling in the happiness of now and the lovely people in your life is very satisfying.
ReplyDeleteHi there LWDLIK! :) I don't know your name, I don't know how to call you... Sorry! I hope to know you more! :) I agree with what you've said... Being content and thankful for what you have and making the most out of it would truly make life satisfying. I'm happy that you've shared your thoughts with me. I'd try to write in English as much as I can. :)
